Dry needling

Release pain at the source. Dry needling targets tight muscle knots (trigger points) to reduce pain quickly, improve movement and restore function, often when nothing else has worked.

How it works

A trigger point is a small knot in a muscle that stays tight and sore, and can send pain somewhere else, like a headache from a knot in the shoulder. A very fine, solid needle placed in the knot makes the muscle twitch and let go. Most people feel a brief ache, then the area relaxes.

Often used for

  • Tight neck and shoulders
  • Low back pain
  • Muscle knots that keep coming back
  • Sports strains
